Looks like I’ve made another list of lists kinda website. This picture is used in Photoble as one of 20 examples of long exposure.
Colour me happy about it.
It was one of the first real long exposure shots I took. The image is taken from Glacier Point, overlooking Half Dome at Yosemite National Park, CA. The cluster of light you can see just to the right of the north star (center of the circle) is the Milky Way. The observation hut was painted using gelled speedlights, not Photoshop (it scares me)
I recently spent the night in Yosemite again, so maybe I’ll post more star trails if you beg nicely. Ha!
Come on, talk to us!
