As Robbie Williams said when EMI purchased his music, “I’m rich beyond my wildest dreams!”
That’s right, the Austrian Tourist Board just PAID me, so they can use a shot I took a while ago, as an advert to encourage people to visit, and to hike in their country.
Of course, the slight difference between Mr Williams and I is that he got a hundred million British pounds, and got barely enough to buy a snickers bar. But still. I WAS PAID. This is news! It’s only the 4th time that has ever happened.
If you want to spread the word to those with money burning a hole in their pockets, I really am not offended by the idea of taking it off them.
