Antelope Gods (playing in Antelope Canyon)

The Native Americans that control Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon are (rightly) very restrictive about what they will and will not allow you to do in their spiritual places. The list of rules for photographers is long but the reality is that the place is run by really nice guys that really love cameras. The rules are there to keep the knobs in check, for those of us that treat the place with respect, we’re allowed to break almost all of them. The one real no-no is nudity.

So how do you photograph on of the more photographed sites in Arizona and make it different if you can’t throw a little boob in to the frame?

My option was to throw extra arms at it.

These are all real images. No cloning. No duplicating. All real images taken using a patient model. And then small amount of photoshop blending. I’ll show you how to recreate them in a future post. But for now, enjoy the multi-limbed goddess worshiping in the cave of spirits.
