[updated] Nikon Needs to Fire someone Part 2

I’ve posted before about how I’d fire someone at Nikon given half the chance because their product lineup makes no sense. Thanks to Nikon Rumors, I now have even more evidence that they’re nuts over there. The above picture shows how their camera range is laid out. Makes perfect sense doesn’t it?

Buggers.

Still, I really want a D4 or maybe a D4X. Maybe the new Q1020 (Df) will float my boat, we’ll find out tomorrow. I couldn’t help but notice that in advert teaser #6 for the new camera they’re using it for night photography in one of the frames – maybe Nikon will finally have some features that we’ve been asking for?

They released the Df. Sigh. Not what I wanted. Not even close. I was hoping for something a little more NEX-6 ish. Cameras are changing and Nikon and Canon don’t seem to know how to respond. Kirk Tuck over at DIYphotography says it better than I ever could. Read this.
